i joined to WordPress.com on JUNE 2021
Now I wanted to update my email address on WordPress.com but I got this error message. “
“That e-mail address is already being used.”
How can I update my email address?
I changed my admin username and email of my WordPress website and now i want to update my WordPress.com account too.

Hi there!
If you’re seeing the message that the email address is already being used, it usually means that you have another WordPress.com account with the same email address. It’s not possible to use the same email address on two WordPress.com accounts.
You’d need to log into the other account, change the email address on that account to something else so that your desired email address is not active on any WordPress.com account, and then log back into this account and update the email address.
You can also log into the other account and close it, but you’ll need to wait 30 days for the email address to be removed after closing an account.
If you don’t remember the password to the other account where the email address is already being used, you can reset it. Please go to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and enter the email address. A password reset link will be emailed to you that you can click to change the password of your account. Afterwards, you can use the new password to log into your WordPress.com account.

Today I deleted my last account and now I should wait 30 days.
It was better to update my account but I did not know this and closed it!!!

Yes, so the account email address can be changed at any time here: https://wordpress.com/me/account/
The email change would be confirmed via a recipient email after the change.
