change existing domainname to subdomain
-
I’d like to use a subdomain to point to my WordPressblog instead of the domain I own. I have paid for an upgrade to use the domainname I own, I would like to CHANGE that to a subdomainname, and use the domainname for something else.
Do I need to pay for a new upgrade, or can I change something in the DNS records? The domainname I used was http://www.mariekevandervelden.net. The subdomainname I’d like to use is beeld.mariekevandervelden.net. My domain registrar already has done the Cname-thing, I only need to add it to my blog.
Thanks for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Sounds great. So what I can do is switch out the domain mapping for mariekevandervelden.net and turn it into a subdomain: beeld.mariekevandervelden.net. That means your domain mapping for mariekevandervelden.net will no longer work. Please reply to confirm.

Thanks for the confirmation. I have updated your domain mapping to the subdomain. I am now able to find your site at beeld.mariekevandervelden.net as seen here:
If that is not what you see, can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

That’s exactly what I see. But, I used a different font for the headings, same font as on this site: http://www.mvandervelden.nl/
And I don’t see that anymore. Howcome?

Try checking your Typekit connection to see if that font is still available. I’ve been made aware that Typekit will remove certain fonts after while.

It was there this morning, so that’s why I thought it had somerhing to do with the subdomain. But I’ll check!

As far as i can see, the fony is still available. It’s this one: https://typekit.com/fonts/wordy-diva
