change favicon/blavatar??

I’m trying to change the word press logo on the tab at the top to my own logo but I cant see to do it. I have followed all the posts I Can find on the topic but for some reason I can’t get to work.

Maybe you’re refering to Blavatar, a term that combines “blog” and “avatar.”
