Change Feature Picture Size

  I’m trying to make my feature pictures smaller but I cannot. When I try to upload smaller pictures, the theme requires a certain size. When I try to change the size from my dashboard, I’ve made the max size considerably smaller and yet still, I cannot shrink the size of the pictures on the actual posts. Help!

  Hi there,

  The Libretto theme was designed in such a way that the dimensions are “hard coded” for the featured image. Changing the size of the image you upload will not affect the final size on the site since it is adjusted automatically by the theme.

  Instead you can override that with this bit of custom CSS you can add to your CSS settings. The following code will change the cropping behaviour of the theme so the full featured image is shown and nothing is cut out:

  .libretto-has-header-image #masthead {
  	background-size: contain;
  	background-position: center;
  	background-color: #f2f1ec;
  	border-bottom: 0px;
  }
  
  .libretto-has-header-image #masthead:after{
  	background: none;
  }
