change featured image & heading position
-
Need to change image presentation …
I want image thumbnails on the home page as provided when a featured image is present, but I don’t want the image to become the full-width banner when I open the post.
On the post page I want the featured image displayed as a “normal” image positioned under the post title in a medium size
…and, the post title and website banner to be “normal” as well, like on post pages without a featured image.I see two options
– can I change the post page to display the image as required, adjusting the heading and image placement
OR
– can I change the home page to pick up the first image (not using a featured image) and display as a thumbnail like the current featured imageCan I do this with “additional css”?
(I’m reasonably familiar with css)We love everything else about this template and have customised it to work beautifully for us – but this feature doesn’t suit our images or style!
Grateful for any help!
