Change font color for posts in Fjords theme

  I love the fjords theme … except for the pale gray color for the posts.
  I just bought the CSS upgrade and now I’m at sea. How can I change the font color from gray to black #000000 without falling into any pits, breaking any links or otherwise disrupting things I don’t know how to fix?
  Advice appreciated.

  To change only the post content, do the following.

  #content {
  color: #000000;
  }

  Bonus question: What is the code if I want to also change the gray text to black in the other three columns of the four-column fjords design?
