change font color in page widget on sidebar

Hi,
I recently upgraded my site to WordPress 3.0 (Thesis theme) and for some reason it changed the colors of ALL the hyper links on my site, specifically the text/links on the page widget on my left sidebar. I can’t seem to change it back to the color I had before which is #342D7E.
I’ve been trying to change it in the custom.css stylesheet, but it doesn’t seem to work. I also tried changing it under Design Options, but no luck.
#sidebar_1 #pages-3 { color: #342D7E; }

Any help with the sidebar text colors and all link colors would be greatly appreciated.
