Change font-colour & size of menu items for "Gateway" theme
-
Hi, I’m having difficulty changing the font colour/ size of menu items in the Gateway theme using CSS. Any ideas?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi again,
This will change the color, font size, as well as remove the “all uppercase” property:
.main-navigation .menu a{ color: black; font-size: 18px; text-transform: none; }Also, I see you’ve currently hidden the WordPress.com and theme credits from the footer. It’s a violation of the Terms of Service.

Hi Ehtis,
Thanks for your help. I face the same problem as Annekwan1! See my website: http://www.deleuzeindia.com
I tried adding the code you are giving here at the end of the style.css, but it does not change anything.
I also tried to do the same via the plugin ‘Easy Google Fonts’, which changed aspects of the main body & title fonts well, but could not affect in any way the menu bar. Let me know if that seems solvable?
Many thanks,
Samuel

You have a self-hosted installation of WordPress software, and the version of Gateway used may also be different from the one available to hosted WordPress.com blogs.
You might want to post this in the volunteer-based support forums of WordPress.org, which deal with self-hosted installations. This forum is for blogs registered at WordPress.com, where users don’t have direct access to files including theme files.

Hello Ehtis,
Oh, alright, thank you for the information. I’ll submit the question there. Any chance the code you mentioned may work on the self-hosted wordpress as well? Could you perhaps please clarify where it is to be placed? In the style.css file? At a particular position in this file?
Thank you!
Samuel
