Change font colour text widget

  Hi there,
  What am I doing wrong?
  Trying to change font size and colour of my Archive Text Widget.

  I read a support response from 2007 by time thief suggesting making a draft copy and copy pasting it into the widget but can’t get that to work either….

  I see.

  Span tags do not work around shortcodes like that. You can change text inside a text widget with the span tags, but you can’t cause the span tags to change everything inside a shortcode. For that you’d need the Custom Design upgrade.

  Then make a new post in the CSS forum asking specifically how to change that. The expert there can help you.
