Change Font Colour

Good!If you look at the carousel/slider on the home page you see the featured pic and the topic of the featured blog then you see some verbiage under; the beginning of the post. I need that removed.

My bad, try this for comment box background.
#respond div#comment-form-comment { background: green; }Do you also want to retain the background color on clicking in the box to add a comment?
1.
.slider span.post-meta, .slider p { display: none; }This may be better style but use whichever one you like :-)
.slider p { display: none; } -
Thanks a lot !
Yes I want to retain the background.
I do not see any change if I use the second slider option; the one you recommended. Now the verbiage is removed from the Slider it seems like the height should be reduced.

Using second style will remove only the excerpt line (verbiage) from the slider. It retains the post date and the post author, which I think is good. But it is up to you which style do you wish to keep on your site.
If you prefer to go with first style then yes, we need to reduce the height.
I will let you know the other styles tonight.

Here is the style to retain the comment form background color on clicking in the box to add a comment.
#respond div#comment-form-comment.active { background: green; }Your slider looks cool with the post meta data (author and date).

thanks, you have been great. Would I be on the right track if I use firebug to learn how to edit CSS?

I suggest using Google Chrome browser with Developer Tools. You can find more information about this here: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools
I am still learning too and have some courses to do, but if only I can stop answering questions so I can spend some of my free time learning as well :-)

lol, that is a good one!
I think I am done not we can close. I am sure many others with Bold News Theme who read this ticket would have learned a lot as well.
