change font size
-
Hi, how can I change the font size in the post?
thanks in advance -
There’s a drop-down menu in the Visual Editor tool that likely says “Paragraph.” Click on that and you can select a different font style. The size is controlled by your theme’s css stylesheet — different styles have different sizes.

That’s not correct. We never use H headings to increase font size.

If you are referring only to the font size inside of your posts and pages you can make some changes without an annually renewable upgrade.
For changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the Text ie. HTML editor see http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/
For changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2
To display the second row of icons, first select the toolbar toggle icon at the end of row 1 and click it. https://i0.wp.com/en.support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/kitchensink.png
Then see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#text-colorHowever, if you want to make any font changes to blog titles or widget titles then you need the premium upgrade bundle that includes the custom design upgrade in it.
See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ that contains a custom design upgrade required for CSS editing: Custom design – Frequently Asked Questions

You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

You’re welcome. In the past, many bloggers here used the H headings to increase and decrease font sizes and that, of course, is bad SEO, that undermines the excellent SEO built into WordPress.com themes.
