Hello,
Whilst you can edit some style aspects in the Customizer, there is no option to edit the font size in the Chateau theme.
If this is a change you wish to make you can do so with CSS using Custom Design. Custom Design is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and Business Plans.

Hello again, gemmagarner –
Well, thanks so much for finding the thread and replying. It’s a shame because I really like the theme. I just can’t justify paying for premium, though (although why changing font size is premium I know not).
Do you know if ANY free themes allow change in font size?
Thanks.

Hi Cinnamonb,
I have investigated this further and have discovered it is possible to edit the font size to some degree!
If you navigate to My Sites → Customize → Fonts, there are two headings: Headings and Base Font.
By default, the font selected is Default Theme Font and there is no option to edit the font size.
However, when you select a different font from the dropdown menu a size button is displayed underneath. Clicking it reveals several size options including: tiny, small, normal, large and huge. This feature is called Custom Fonts.
If you need greater control over your font sizes then Custom Design will give you more flexibility. However, this solution above may enable to you do what you need.

Thank you so much —- that was really going the extra mile!!! Appreciate it.
That solution sounds as though it will work pretty well for what I really need to do. I will be doing another post this weekend (hopefully ahead of the storm) and I will absolutely be checking this out!!!
Again, merci bien!
