Change font type of entire posts/pages
-
Hi, I recently started a blog and am pretty new to wordpress. I pasted my posts/pages from word where they were previously written, thing is some of them were in Calibri and others in Times New Roman. I had no idea that text pasted from word also copies the font type to wordpress, I thought all the different fonts would be changed to whatever font wordpress/the theme uses.
Is there any way to painlessly change the font type of the entire post to either Times new Roman or Calibri? I tried changing it in word and copying the paragraphs in the new font into the post editor but some times it worked, other times it didn’t (this inconsistency is baffling). Any help would be appreciated. I just don’t want to have to have to start from scratch and put all the images and links in the posts again just because I want to change the font style.

Painlessly and easily and free of charge – I’m sorry but the answer is no unless you are into coding.

justpi is a coding whiz and if you are patient he will probably show up here and assist you.
Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page can be done by coding into the HTML editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/
Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog requires purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

I don’t understand why then when I pasted from word it pasted in the same font, but then when I go into word and change the font to what I want and paste it again, it still remains in the previous font? It makes no sense at all.

WORD is not web compliant. It contains extraneous ie. garbage code.

Then go here and enable this setting > Dashboard > Settings > Writing:
Formatting

It appears that it’s all in times new roman now after enabling this, thanks! I’ll just copy-paste the paragraphs using this option then.

1) The safest way to avoid problems when copypasting is to copypaste into the Text editor.
2) Your pages are now all in the default font of the theme (which is not Times New Roman). Or aren’t you talking about http://mjesecdanauiranu.wordpress.com/ ?
