Change footer background color

Add topic to favorites
I changed the background colors of my Blog’s theme but the footer and the extended footer remain unchanged.

I use the Gridiculous Pro theme and my blog is http://www.ohmsweetohm.me

I appreciate your help in this matter since I know nothing about CSS.

Hi there, go to Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS and you can adjust the color code as desired. I’ve used the same color as your background. I’ve also included the second CSS rule which set the text color in the footer to something lighter than it was since it was hard to read with the new background color.
```
#footer {
  background-color: #4f5b66;
}
#footer .copyright {
  color: #aaa;
}
```

How do I change the purple footer and upper header?
I can not find the CSS under the customize area….
