change from address for email subscribers

    Hey. I will like to find out how to change my ‘from address’ for my email subscribers. I don’t want my email subscribers to get their email blog posts from ‘WordPress’ rather I want them to get it from ‘Horeb International Leadership Blog’. I used to be able to activate my site title ‘Horeb International Leadership Blog’ just before I published a new blog post and remove it after I have published it and this ensured that all my email subscribers including me got the emailed blog post from ‘Horeb International Leadership Blog’ not ‘WordPress’

    .I will then remove the site title after I have published the blog post until the next blog post publication. This is because I have already customised my pilcrow header to display ‘Horeb International’ so a site title just duplicates the brand as well as clutters the page and it is not as nice as the header. This means the site title is empty most of the time except when I want to publish a new blog post. But in the last 2 weeks, the tactic of saving the site title for the purpose of getting email subscribers to receive blog posts from ‘Horeb International Leadership Blog’.is not working rather it states that it is from ‘WordPress’. Please help. Many thanks

    Hi. To my knowledge, if you use WordPress.com’s subscription service, emails will be sent using the following information.

    Sender’s email address : “donotreply at wordpress.com”.
    Sender’s name: The name indicated under Settings > General > Site title. If that’s empty, the email will look like it’s coming from “WordPress.com”

    Unfortunately, your blog does not have a title. See for yourself when you visit your site and look at the browser’s title.

    P.S. You misspelled your blog’s address at the bottom of your message (worpress instead of wordpress), so don’t use that link, as it will just redirect you to WordPress.com’s homepage.

    If you really need to hide your blog’s title (due to your custom header) AND tell your subscribers the email comes from you, switch to a theme that allows you to hide the blog’s title (as opposed to deleting it):

    (choose any theme marked “Hide text = yes”)
