ilpassaportodigio.wpcomstaging.comfirst. To downgrade the site, we must confirm that you understand:1. Any content (pages, posts, media, comments, etc) added after adding outside themes and plugins will be lost.
2. Any custom content created by plugins and themes will not be carried over.
3. Plugins and third-party themes can no longer be used.
4. The site will revert to using the old theme.
Please make backups, and ensure you have your content ready to re-upload if needed. We can proceed once you’ve confirmed.

Thanks for confirming. I have downgraded the site and returned it to it’s original URL of https://ilpassaportodigio.wordpress.com/
As helper-heroponriki mentioned, there will be some changes to the site when plugins are removed, and some theme options can be reset. However you should not see any missing pages, blog posts, or images. Can you give the site a once-over to make sure there is no missing content?

Where are you seeing that? In Google searches? One thing to be aware of is that when you change your site address it takes Google 4-6 weeks to realize it on their end and update their listings.
We’re not in control of making that go faster, but you can! To do that sign up for a free Google Search Console account, and then follow the steps here to register the site address with them directly so they can update their listings: https://wordpress.com/support/webmaster-tools/#google-search-console

Hi jerry, you just need to go here https://ilpassaportodigio.wordpress.com/robots.txt and you’ll be redirect to https://ilpassaportodigio.wpcomstaging.com.com/robots.txt that is clearly not the correct robots.txt.
My site is already registered in Google Search Console and Google says my site is blocked by robots.txt

Hi there,
It looks like the redirect for your free address that was created when you installed plugins, was still cached for the robots.txt file.
We’ve manually cleared the cache for that file, and it now loads the correct one.
You’ll need to clear your browser cache to see the change on your end, and it might take a while for it to update on Google’s end as well. You might be able to speed it up there by telling Google to re-crawl your site in Search Console.
