change header background colour

  i would like to change the background colour of my header. I am using the barnsbury theme. the options in customize don’t seem to help with this.

  Hi there!

  You can change it in the Customizer https://d.pr/v/Y262fi but it will also change the footer color.

  Alternatively, you can use CSS to do that https://wordpress.com/support/editing-css/css-support/

  I would also recommend checking the themes that use Site Editor, where you can edit the color of everything via the template https://wordpress.com/themes/all/filter/full-site-editing/childoftheearth.co.uk. They are much more flexible.
