change header without css

    Please help me. I feel like such a beginner. I should be easy but I just cannot find how it works. I work in theme twenty fourteen, that should have a flexible header. Still I always have to crop my picture and so I get a white empty space on the side of my header. I wold like to header to fill the whole width of my blog. I cannot work in css and did’nt buy the upgrade.

    When you upload a custom header, does it give you the option of *not* cropping but to continue without cropping?

    Here are the recommended dimensions from the theme’s Showcase page:

    The header image size is 1260 wide and 240 high.
