Hi there,
I see that you asked this same question a few months ago, and we replied:Hi there! Would you be able to share your existing domain, and more about what your site does? We’re happy to provide more accurate information regarding migrating in; it’ll help us to know what sort of setup you have currently so we can point you in the right direction!
What is your current domain? Once we know more about your domain and site, we’d be better prepared to assist. Let us know, thanks!

Hi, yes my previous question expired so i couldnt reply.
I’m not too sure what the domain is but i got the site through GoDaddy. I hope that helps.

Hi there!
No worries. So your site is currently hosted by GoDaddy. You can upgrade your WordPress.com site and import the GoDaddy-hosted site over to us. Here’s what you can do:
- Upgrade to a WordPress.com plan.
- Follow the instructions here to migrate your entire site to WordPress.com.
- Connect or transfer your domain to WordPress.com. (Here are the differences)
- Wait for propagation.
- Set the domain as primary.
If you’d like to transfer your GoDaddy-hosted site to WordPress.com and keep everything as is, including themes and plugins, the WordPress.com Business plan will be the best choice for you. The Business plan gives you access to third-party themes and plugins. real-time automatic backups, SFTP access, security scanning, high-performance servers, and 24/7 live chat support if you opt for the yearly plan.
You can also choose the Premium plan if you’re okay with migrating just the content and choose a theme from our theme gallery. If you’d like to explore this plan, let us know and we can suggest the next steps.
Feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you need and we’ll be happy to help.

Hi I’m a bit confused because when I go onto my website, it says that Lift Legal is currently the web host.

Is the process still the same?
-
Hey there,
It looks like Lift Legal are a marketing agency, who may be using or reselling GoDaddy hosting as part of the services they’re offering.
As the site is a WordPress site, the process would be the same. :)

Hi, i just added name servers via Godaddy portal. However, now i’m not receiving incoming emails. Can you please urgently help me.
-
Hi there!
Generally speaking, you would want to get the DNS records from your email service provider and follow the instructions here to add them to the domain on our side. This ensures your email service keeps working after the nameservers have been pointed to us.
However, I checked your domain just now and noticed it still doesn’t have the WordPress.com nameservers. Though nameserver changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect, I’d suggest taking another look at GoDaddy’s instructions here to ensure the nameserver changes were done properly.
Feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you need and we’ll be happy to help.
