change host & keeping all content

  Hi Guys,

  I started of with a free blog online (so no download) and bought the upgrade for domain name. Now I’m having someone build my new blog from scratch (also with wordpress). It’s almost done so I’m going to have to transfer all the content (all the posts I’ve written until now) from this blog to my new one. Can someone help me please? I really need to know ASAP!

  When you say “WordPress” we Volunteers immediately think which one?

  You say you bought an upgrade for a domain and domain mapping but in the sidebar I see a tag for “redirect”.

  Please clarify.

  Sorry for being unclear, I don’t know much about the technical stuff I just love writing!

  I am leaving WordPress.com and moving content from my free hosted WordPress.COM blog into a WordPress.ORG install so I mailed the link that you shared to the guy who’s building it for me. Thanks! I hope this is what he needs. If not, I will be back here ;)
