Change Hosting

  Suppose I have a wordpress.com blog: my site.com, hosted with wordpress.com.

  If I purchase a hosting package may I know what is the procedure to move it to that host.

  Can anyone please give link to the article to do this.

  What if I purchased the domain through wordpress.com?

  What if I want to move it to another hosting package. I know to import posts, but I am not getting an idea how this domain name will be transferred to new hosting.

  Is the following link the correct way to do it or is there any documents?

  You can just move the domain over to your new blog. I’ve done it easily.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/

  If you bought it from WP.com, you’ll need to re-purchase it annually from them.
