  Hi

  If I choose a free wordpress domain to begin with can I then change it at a later date to a domain name I’ve bought?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s possible (see instructions below), but not really recommended. If you can avoid it, that’s best. Changing your address can cause existing links to break, and may make it more difficult for others to find your site.

  I presume I can have my website set up & ready to launch & then add my domain name or do I have to choose one before I get started?

  You can add a domain name, or change your WordPress.com address, at any time.
