Change Illustratr menu font size but not body text..

    Hello wonderful helpful people,

    So, I’ve used the Customize > Fonts > Headings and > Body Text to select a couple of fonts and change the size.

    However, I would love to use some CSS to solve some issues but am slightly groping in the dark. Can you help?

    I’m happy with Body Text size other than the fact that it also affects the menus along the top. Is there a way to have the menu font different to Body Text using CSS ?

    I also want to change the colour of the body text font which sounds simple but….

    When I’ve peeped at the CSS stylesheet and made a couple of changes, I do not see these appear on the preview. What am I doing wrong?

    Yes it is! If you want to change menu font size, you can use this CSS code:

    #site-navigation a {
	font-size: 101%;
}

    and this other code for your content text:

    .entry-content p {
	font-size: 90%;
}

    You can use the same selector (.entry-content p ), but this will not work on links. If you want to change links color, you should use (.entry-content p a). Here it is an example with red on text and green on links… (You can use http://www.calculatorcat.com/free_calculators/color_slider/rgb_hex_color_slider.phtml to see how does rgb notation works).

    .entry-content p {
	font-size: 90%;
	color: rgb(255,0,0);
}

.entry-content p a{
	color: rgb(0,255,0);
}

    I’m not sure. Maybe your rule is override by some other css rule? Could you please tell us which CSS code have you added?
