Change in adding media

It seems that WP has changed how one adds photos to posts and now I can only insert photos at the beginning of my post. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes and this thread is tagged for Staff assistance. If you subscribe to it you will be notified when Staff respond to it.

Same problem here–the photos will only insert at the top of my posts, and when I cut and paste them to where they should be, they lose their formatting and captions.

There are few Staff and millions of bloggers. There are many bloggers who posted prior to you who also require Staff support.

Oh, I totally understand. Just wanted to make sure I was subscribed and doing what I’m supposed to be doing. It gives me more time to edit before I add photos! Also Timethief, if you know of another thread that has already covered this, I’ll go check that out but I couldn’t find one in my searches. Thanks!

I hope you aren’t referring to me because I’m not cranky at all. I am a Volunteer and I have posted related thread links so Staff get to the threads with the same issue more quickly.

More power to you. That link you sent me had some really ridiculous people on there. I love my blog and I love the WP community but really folks, it’s a blog, you’re not curing cancer. If you can’t do photos for a day or two, you’ll all live.

Well I’m a cancer survivor and I’m currently in remission. I escaped the grim reaper twice so I took this username years before punks and special snowflakes gave it an negative connotation. There are some days I want to shout at the top of my lungs — it’s only a blog! There are other days I want to other stuff too. ;) I simply continue to answer questions as I’m committed to the 50% – 50% principle ie. spending 50% of my time helping others in any way I can.
