Change in Administrators ~ Lost user name and password

  Recently had our administrator of our Word Press web site leave our group. We need to either find a way to gain administrator rights to the existing site or delete it and begin again..??..??

  That’s really the only way to get it. WP won’t give it to you since by policy the site “belongs” to whoever created it.

  If the person that left isn’t the one who created it, you may have a chance if you can find out who did.

  Otherwise, you’ll have to get it from the person that left. If they refuse to, you may have to go to court.

  Did this person have a company email address? If so, is there any way someone can (legally) access it and see if the login information is there?
