Change in domain host. Website and domain email have gone down.

    Hi there, I’m having trouble with my blog. The site is down – and has been for 48 hours. I have just transfered my domain to another host. I have changed the nameservers to the new host. In this period my email address attached to this domain has gone down too. I am not a technology expert – a mere blogger and I’e been trying to do this a week now and am anxious and frustrated that I don’t understand how and why my site (and email) are no longer working. I thank you for your help.

    You’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com. Because your site at naturalkitchenadventures.com is self-hosted using the WordPress.org software with a different hosting provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.

    Thanks for your answer. I’m not actually self hosted through wordpress.org yet. That was the next step – so where the site is hosted now I don’t know. I still accessing the backend through wordpress.com

    Since you transferred your domain to your new host, and the domain is pointing to your new host now, you’ll need to get everything set up on your host before it appears at your domain. You can get in touch with your new host with any questions about that.
