Change in domain name and internal blog post links

  Hi
  I’m looking to change my domain name in the next few weeks. I’m trying to establish what will happen to links to other posts in my blog, already posted, if I change my domain name. Will they break, or will they merely update to the new address?

  My site address will not change, just the domain name.

  I need to know this before I make the changes as going through the past 500 odd posts to update internal links to the new domain will be tedious beyond belief. Thanks very much.

  When you sign up, my understanding is that you have a site name which can be the same as (and in my case is the same as) your user name. Changing the site name changes all the permalinks to your site/blog, whereas you can map any domain to the site name.

  Maybe I should just rephrase:

  Would changing my domain name (from ileandrayoung.com to ileandraxraven.co.uk) break the links I have made to other posts within existing blog posts?
