change in email doesn't work?

I tried to change the email on site masterlaurestaohealingjourney.wordpress.com. It said it would mail a confirmation link, but the email only said the following, no link and the email is unchanged.
We recently received a request to change the email address for the WordPress.com user masterlaure from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
If you made this request, you can safely ignore and delete this email.
If you did not request this change, please respond to this email immediately.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you receive that message at the new email address? The new mail address is where the confirmation link should be received. See the Update Email Address support page.
If the answer to the above question is yes, then I’d suggest that you add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

When you updated the email address on your Account Settings page, did you click on the confirmation link to confirm the change? The email address will only be changed if this link is clicked.
