Change in the image size displayed on my pages

    Hi,
I’ve had my blog since 2017.
I mostly use it to display images on the pages.

Since I launched it, I always re-sized every single image to the same dimension, when adding them as Media into a page: 219*300 (it used to be a standard feature on WordPress when using the ‘insert media’ tool, they they changed the features and I always had to resize each image manually).

Last week, as I was trying to insert some new pics in my blog pages, I realized that roughly half the uploaded images (on a total of nearly 1k) had a change in their dimension.
When browsing my blog pages online, everything still appears normal on each page.
But when I go into the page editor, half the images have a new dimension: 543*746.

So now, whenever I start a new draft of any page, I don’t want to save it: I’m afraid that these new dimensions on half the images will translate into how the images will be displayed on screen – potentially creating a very displeasing visual effect.

If anyone knows how this came into effect, and if there is anything I can do to restore every single image to its original dimension across my blog pages, that would be really appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help,
    Ben
