change in username

  I have changed my username.But the old name still shows up.How long will it take to get updated to the new name?

  Sorry to hear about that, that sounds strange. You might want to confirm that your username has change by checking account settings.

  Hi there,

  I can see the new username, vikramhereblog, next to your post here in the forums. Where exactly are you still seeing the old username? It would help if you can provide a link to where you are still seeing it.

  I am seeing my old name in google search.

  We don’t control what Google shows.

  Any change like this first needs to be re-indexed in search engines before they will show the new information. How long it takes varies from one search engine to the next, but it typically takes a few weeks. You will need to be patient in this case.
