Change in users

I’ve tried to remove a user who left our organization, but she still is receiving all the notifications and contact emails. The dashboard does not show the deleted email address at all, but the email address it does display has not been contacted. We’ve tried to update this multiple times, and it still hasn’t worked. ((email visible only to moderators and staff) should now be (email visible only to moderators and staff))

What is the username of that person. Have they tried to click to “leave a blog”? http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#leave-a-blog
Is that user the person who has the username account that registered the blog you are trying to delete them from?
