Change IP Address?

    Hi, My domain, http://www.tentspiration.com, is registered with wordpress.com. A couple of months ago my website was hacked and received a virus. The virus has been removed, but my website still appears on some blacklists (mailchimp, facebook, etc). I have read that changing the IP address may remove me from some lists. Is it possible for my IP address to be changed?

    Changing your IP address is not going to make any difference whatsoever. Mail chimp does not use your IP address uses a MailChimp IP, in addition, IP addresses for hosting sites especially on
    this system which might have thousands of websites online IP or maybe dynamic Is going to be a waste of time.

    Think about how many websites are on WordPress.com Do you really think Malicious without email Is tracked by IP or domain?

    Simply put if you want to get off of those listThis is what you have to do submit that your site is no longer hacked Or use Sucuri To get your site off of this lists

      You may want to look into WordPress.org If you are looking for a hosting company that will help you with this type of thing

    At this time, your IP address is pointed to GoDaddy hosting and not to WordPress.com. The IP has been pointed to another host for a few months. As the host provides the IP, you’d want to reach out to them. Or move the domain back to WordPress.com hosting would change your IP?

    I’m also not totally convinced that’s a perfect solution. However, since the IP you use doesn’t come from WordPress.com, it’s not possible to change that via request here. You might ask other WordPress.org users how to come back from a malware incident like that. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
