Change "Leave a comment" text
-
Just researched this: Is it still true that the “Leave a Comment” text CANNOT be changed in CSS? I also want to change the “Share This:” text.
I read in old posts that it’s inherent to the theme and beyond CSS customization.
If it can be changed, I cannot figure it out. I tried using “content:….” but it didn’t work.
Thanks!

My main issue is this: on my Front page, which shows my latest posts, there are no sharing buttons visible after each post summary (in my case, beneath each video). But if you click through to the actual post page, the share buttons are available.
While folks are on the Front page, I’d like them to know that they can share the post.

This is not a CSS issue at all. Go to

Scroll down to:
Comment Form
Prompt
make the change and click “save changes”. -
That’s not what I was asking. In fact, I’ve already changed my comment prompt.
I’d like to change the actual LINK text below blog posts on the Front page that reads “Leave a comment”

Wow! Worked beautifully, @sacredpath. Thank you!
I discovered Firebug today and was able to make all kinds of CSS changes today because of it. But changing the comment link text really stumped me…

You are welcome, and I also use Firebug and have for a long time. It is a great tool, and congratulations on being able to make your changes. Your site is looking awesome!
