    Hello there!

There is a carriage return at the end of each of the lines on your front page. This automatically creates HTML code that is read as a new paragraph, thus the spacing between each line.

In order to adjust this, I’m going to give you a little trick :)

    Please click the link below:
    https://cafoodpantry.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1&action=edit

Click on the Text tab in your editor.

    Replace the HTML from

    <p style=”text-align: center;“><em><strong>WELCOME!</strong> </p>
    all the way to

    <p style=”text-align: center;”><em><strong>Hours of Operation</strong>

    with:

We are here to provide food to the needy of our community
Without regard to race, creed or religion
All of us have times in our lives when we need a helping hand
Our purpose is to meet that need with food for you and your family

Then, click the Visual tab. Your text should now be single spaced. Feel free to add any decoration to the text (ie. center/bold/etc).

    Update your Post.

You can do the same thing with other Pages/Posts as necessary. Add the single-spaced text to the Text tab, and then do any formatting in the Visual tab.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!
