Change Link Color in CSS custom
-
I’m using the Adventure Journal theme and want to change the color of my links away from the crazy blue color.
Can anyone help me identify the specific part of the code where I can do this? The color after you’ve clicked it already is fine. It’s just the “unclicked” state that I want to change. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only blue I’m seeing is on the “visited” links. In Adventure Journal, there is a separate color set for links that a visitor has visited or clicked on. Is that the “blue” you are talking about? To see the link in their normal color, clear your browser cache and then visit your site and the links will all be the dark reddish-brown color.

ah, clarification: it’s the links I’m creating that are blue. I did clear the cache, so this shows what I’m talking about.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m using Firefox 9 and like thesacrepath points out above, the links are deep rusty red color until they are clicked and when clicked they change to deep blue.
-
I’m not seeing blue links on that page, either in Firefox or in Safari.
Did you clear your browser cache and then reload the page to see if the links turned the reddish-brown color for you?
Or by chance are you talking about in the post editor when you are creating a post?

Thanks all! (And thanks to designsimply for the compliment–I love your job title.)
First post’s going up in just a bit.

Oh bother. I know that code should change the visited to black, right? But everything’s just stayed the reddish-brown after I click on it.
-
Yeah, I didn’t realize you wanted to turn visited links black. :)
You can change the color code in the CSS to whatever you like.

Perfect. I can’t say thank you enough–I know my questions are incredibly basic. Thank you for being patient with me.
Happy New Year (after all, this might be the last one!)
