Change Logo ID from Text to Image
-
I’m wanting my <div id=”logo”> on my banner here (turfrugs.wordpress.com) to not contain the site-title or site-description but instead of that text have my company logo http://turfrugs.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/turfrugslogo.png. Any recommendations on how to update this styling using the WordPress custom design add-on.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Note that all CSS editing is theme specific. Which blog are you referring to please? If it’s not the blog linked to your username wearing the Freshy theme, then please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog you want to do this CSS editing on.

Is this blog wearing the Adventure Joural theme the one you mean? http://turfrugs.wordpress.com/

Its the blog located at http://turfrugs.wordpress.com/ that uses the Adventure Journal Theme.

The logo is a little big for that space, but try this to see if you like it:
#logo a { background: url(http://turfrugs.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/turfrugslogo.png) no-repeat; width: 313px; height: 231px; display: block; text-indent: -9999px; }You can adjust the logo size and numbers if you’d like.

Rockin, exactly what I was looking for!
I just created a new resized logo to better fit the space and changed the numbers a bit so it now looks like the following: http://turfrugs.wordpress.com/college/
Thanks a ton designsimply!

QUES: How do you get all of your text in the same font and the same color (green)?
I’m using Adventure Journal and I cannot seem to change the font size or color of any of my text.
BTW: great site: http://turfrugs.wordpress.com/college/
Please HELP?

You should be able to set all of the fonts to the same font family using the Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts page. You should also be able to adjust font size in that same page. I checked http://bldg357.com/about-us/ and all of the fonts there show up as “FF Meta Serif” for me there right now.
To change font color for post and page titles in Adventure Journal:
.entry-title { color: green; }To change the font color for headings in the slideshow currently showing on the home page:
.entry-content h4 span { color: green !important; }If you wanted to change font colors for different areas, then you just need to find the right selectors. You can look in the theme’s stylesheet linked on the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page to try to find them or you can use a tool such as Firebug for Firefox and right-click → Inspect Element to see the CSS, or you could ask here with more specifics about exactly what text you’re looking to change the color of and I’d be happy to take another look.
