change main email and account for wordpress account

  hi I would like to change my main account for my wordpress (on a different account to this one) to a different google gmail account (the one I’m using here), how can I do this please & thank you

  You cannot change an account’s email address to one which is already in use.

  To get around that, use Gmail aliases to create sort of a third email address.

  Instead of using this:

  yourrealemail (at) gmail (dot) com

  Use this:

  yourrealemail+otheraccount (at) gmail (dot) com

  You can make that +1, +whatever, +doesnotmatter … whatever letters or numbers make the most sense to you. Gmail will ignore the plus sign and anything after it. But we won’t, so it’s in effect a second email account that delivers to the same address.
