change markup within a template tag

    Hi everyone. I created a custom blog and I’m having issues with a template tag in the sidebar. The template tag is “wp_list_categories” and it creates a markup within the tag, but I don’t want that. How can I get rid of that markup so it doesn’t show up in my source code.
