Change mobile breakpoints in latest posts block

  I’m helping someone with a site hosted on wordpress.com and the featured image of the posts need to be displayed in a grid–alphabetically by post title–so I am using the Latest Post block on a page. It is set to show 4 columns across. When shown on mobile, we are seeing only 1 across. We’d like to change this to see 2 or 3 on mobile but this block does not seem to have an easy way (in the block editor) to change this like you can in the Layout Grid Block.
