Change my About page

  I am taking blogging 101 course. Assignment today is to write a great About page. I copied a blog that I had written previously, but there was only half of it and then the word ‘more’ in blue. When I pasted only half of it appeared on my page. So I highlighted and hit delete but it wouldn’t delete. Then I found ‘edit’, hit that and highlighted the text on the edit page and deleted. It disappeared, but when I went back to my About page it was still there. I went back to the edit page and ‘trashed’ it. That didn’t work. Then when I hit the edit button again a message came up saying I couldn’t edit because I had trashed it. But it’s still there. It seems everything I try to do just gets me deeper in trouble. Can anyone help?

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and delete any content. You can delete any static Page on your blog here > Dashboard > Pages

  Provided you are logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and permanently delete a Page or Post from Trash see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#permanently-deleting-a-post-or-page

  Oh, you would get along just fine because your search skills will improve over time. To answer support questions here requires the ability to use tag search, support doc search, and search engine searches like Google search. Those are the same skills required to become a successful blogger. We Volunteers are all replaceable and there are always those who are willing to help, some of whom, who are Staff wannabes, and who must skilled at search techniques to be hired.
