Change my background (again) – but the computer says "no"

  Hello supportive WP world . . . I have changed my background twice, but the graphic that I last chose seems to be ‘stuck’.

  I have found a better choice for my background, however cannot seem to make the change happen. I am prepared to admit that I have a defective blog gene, which makes it difficult for the obvious to be seen, but I can tell you that I have

  – deleted the image from the background settings, and saved the change
  – searched at least five pages deep in three different forums
  – searched at wordpress.org
  – done a google search for help
  – checked that my theme is compatable with change [coraline]
  – watched a video tutorial on how to make the change

  deleted the image from the background settings, and saved the change

  I suggest deleting the background image you do not want to use from your Media Library. Will you please try that and let us know if you are successful or not?

  Thanks for the super-quick response timethief.

  I used your suggestion and cleaned out my Media Library (unwanted and mutliple images), – to no avail :( , the unwanted background was still ‘stuck’

  In frustration I then looked for another flexible theme and downloaded The Morning After . . . and guess what?, the unwanted background was still there !?!

  Aaghhhhhhhhhhhhh

  Any other suggestions, please?

  If you deleted the background image from your Media Library then there is no image that your browser can display. The fact you can still see an image normally indicates you are viewing cached data in your browser. But in this case on the bottom left corner of the blog I can still see a little background image. So that means your blog needs Staff intervention. Contact them using this link please. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
