Change my blog adress to my old one

Hello, I had a blog on wordpress about one or two years ago, which I deleted. It was called ‘theresaswelt.wordpress.com’. Now, I have a new one, called ‘theresasveganewelt.wordpress.com’, but I would like to have the blog adress of the blog I had before. But everytime I want to change it, it says the name already exists. But I deleted it, so it should be free again am I right? Hopefully you can help me.
