Thanks for the email. That email address is associated with the username, riquet25, which was created in 2015. It looks like it was created when you signed up for an Akismet subscription.
You’ll first need to log into that account and change that account’s email address to something else. That will free up the address so you can use it for this account.
If you don’t remember the password for that username, you can request a password reset link here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Make sure you are logged out of this account first, before you try resetting the password.

If I delete “Akismet” what would it free the place to put this email address on the profile of my blog? I no longer have the utility of Askimet on my old site.

When you signed up for the Akismet subscription you created a new WordPress.com account. That WordPress.com account cannot be deleted. The only way to free up the email address is via the steps I explained above.

I don’t see any email change request for the riquet25 account. You need to log in as riquet25 and go to this page to update the email address:
https://wordpress.com/me/account/
Changing the email address in the profile settings for this account won’t do anything.

Riquet25 is one of my former directors. I contacted him for his password. He does not remember. He gave me two passwords for me to try. These are not the right ones. The password for that account was reset 3 days ago, and I see 3 new password reset requests after that. Did you not receive those emails?
I’ve sent a separate email to the gmail address you provided. Let me know if you don’t receive that either, otherwise please reply there.
