  I just built a draft of a site. I have NOT paid for the service as yet. However, I would like to change my domain name before I pay for the service.

  No problem, sdye114. You’ll actually have an option to change your domain while signing up for your paid plan. In fact you can register or transfer a domain free this first year, or map an existing domain for free.
