Hello there, for what site is this? Once you provide that information we can point you in the right direction.

Actually I’m sorry. It has to be changed to:
1st nameserver: ns8391.hostgator.com
2nd nameserver: ns8392.hostgator.com

Most webhosts will give you the option to point your domain at a different webhost by changing the nameservers. For example, here are our instructions for pointing a WordPress.com domain to another webhost:
Hope this helps!

Well those options actually aren’t showing up when I login to WordPress so could you guys possibly do that on your end?

If you’ve just recently registered that domain through WordPress.com, because of ICANN regulations you won’t be able to transfer the domain to a new registrar until after 60 days have passed, but in the meantime you can change the nameservers in your domain dashboard to point to your hostgator site. You can learn more about doing that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/change-name-servers/
If you don’t see the domain dashboard in your WordPress.com account, you might need to be logged in with the account that purchased the upgrade. Regardless I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread for Staff attention.

No I’ve deleted the website. When I click on the link you provided it takes me to a page that says “you have no websites.” I’m using the site that I originally purchased the upgrade, website and domain on. However I deleted all of that. What I need to do is transfer just the server names. However, it isn’t letting me do that probably because the site is deleted

Hi there,
Since you have just canceled the domain and did not receive a refund for it I have already restored it back to your account and you can now follow these instructions to point it to HostGator:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/change-name-servers/
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.
