I would like to change the name servers my domain

The top level domain here is wordpress.com. All wordpress.com sites are hosted on .wordpress.com sub domains like this one http://kristineoverbrook.wordpress.com/
What is the URL of the domain you refer to please? Is it https://kristineoverbrook.com/?
If it is then you will have to renew the domain before you can change the names servers. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

You don’t own any domains. Which domain’s name servers are you trying to change?
If you’re speaking of kristineoverbrook.com, that domain expired on 30 April and has already been removed from our system. It can go into redemption with our registrar any day now. You can read about the domain expiration process here:
It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but you’ll first need to pay the renewal fee before I can attempt a recovery, and if the domain is already in redemption we need to pay our registrar an additional $80 to get it back, but I’ll only know that once I email them.
Please let me know if I should get the recovery process started.

I can’t find where I can pay for it. I’ve looked everywhere. The domain doesn’t appear on the site anywhere.
I am Not financially able to pay $80. Just not. If that’s the case you can keep it and I’ll think of another.

At this point you can’t renew it yourself, as the domain is not on our system any more. The only way to get it back is to ask our registrar to restore it, and we need to pay them the $80 IF the domain is in redemption.
It doesn’t look like the domain is in redemption YET, so I might still be able to get it back for you at the regular renewal cost. Please confirm if I should try that.

I’ve emailed our registrar to try and get the domain back. If it’s not in redemption yet, the renewal cost is $26. I’ll let you know and send a payment link if needed as soon as I hear back from our registrar.

Okay, your domain is not in redemption yet, and your registrar is able to restore it. I’ve sent you a payment link via email. As soon as we receive your payment, I can reactivate the domain on your account for you.

And your domain is back online and showing your site again. You might need to clear your browser cache before you will see it.
