change my e-mail address that is displayed public

    Hi, I would like to change my e-mail address in my contact me section, I keep editing and saving an other e-mail address but it doesn’t seem to work. Can somebody help me out, please ? Many Thanks

    Hi, @sowhatsnextcom,

    It looks like you have your personal information where the field names go.
    Instead of “First Name/Name” you have what may be your own name;
    etc.

    To modify those, you’ll want to Edit your Contact Page (let me know if you need help getting there).
    Click on the box, and then choose Edit (pencil icon).
    You will then want to Edit each field and change the Field Name to something generic not personal.

    Be sure to click the Update button.

    @sowhatsnextcom, if you are talking about the information in the boxes that fills automatically, you will want to update your email here:
    https://wordpress.com/me/account

    I’m guessing you may need to update both areas.
