  Can l manually change my email in my account?

  Yes, while logged into your WordPress.com account, go to account settings and update your email address: https://wordpress.com/me/account

  When you click the “Save Account Settings” button, there’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address. The old email address just gets a notice saying the change has been requested.
