Change my email address

  Hi,
  I was just on support chat. I am trying to change my email address for my primary blog: spirit meets bone. The email address I would like to use is associated with another site. I was told to go into THAT site and change the email address there in order to use it for the spirit meets bone blog. I attempted to do that and it is telling me the address I put in is not a valid email address. It is this address: (email visible only to moderators and staff) This is incredibly frustrating.

  You can change your email address on your accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account

  There is a single email address that can be used on only one username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.

  You can go to My Account-> Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
