change my email address from one that doesn't exist

  Hey! When I created my account I accidentally typed the wrong email address. I see that if I need to change my address now I need to click on a link sent to my ‘original’ email, which does not exist! Can you help me with that?

  You don’t have to click on a link sent to incorrect email. You can’t click anyway. So go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and add the correct email address in Email Address textbox.

  You will then be sent a new link to the to the updated correct email address. Click on the link and confirm the new address. You will be all set.

  Only a notification email will be sent to the original incorrect email address, if it exists. You don’t need to do anything with old address.
